Ridgeview served at Diamond Jubilee Receptions

Ridgeview are honoured to announce that their English sparkling wine Bloomsbury 2009 was served at the official receptions to celebrate The Queens Diamond Jubilee at The Mansion House and Guildhall yesterday.

Following the national service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral, The Queen attended a reception at Mansion House where Ridgeview Bloomsbury 2009 was served.   The rest of the Royal Family went on to the London Guildhall for a reception for close to 2,000 people where Ridgeview Bloomsbury 2009 was again served.

Founder and Winemaker of Ridgeview, Mike Roberts, commented : "As a family we feel very proud that our English sparkling wine is being served on such a momentous occasion to celebrate our remarkable monarch, Her Majesty The Queen.  This is such a wonderful honour and acknowledgement of how far our English sparkling wine industry has come to be chosen for such a special Royal event".

In May 2012 Mike Roberts received an MBE for his services to English wine at a ceremony in Buckingham Palace.
