Tours/Opening Times

Ridgeview welcomes visitors to our beautiful vineyard and winery which is nestled at the foot of the South Downs in the village of Ditchling. We are an ideal location set within the picturesque South Downs national park and close to the bustling city of Brighton & Hove.

Normal opening times are:
Monday - Sunday 11am - 4pm.

TOURS 

Throughout the year we host a number of general tours. Pre-booking is essential as they do sell out. Please see below for dates and how to book.

Alternatively you may wish to book a private tour or purchase a gift certificate. Please contact us for further details. A £30 deposit is required to secure a private booking.

FEATURE TOURS

To be held once a month these unique tours will include all the elements of our general tours, with added extras. We’ll be working closely with local producers giving you the opportunity to try out special food pairings, or maybe delve into the Ridgeview archives to taste rare vintages.

What's included?

  • Tour of the vineyard where we grow the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier
  • Explanation of the various vineyard activities that occur throughout the year
  • Tour of our state-of-the-art specialist winery and equipment An insight into the sparkling wine making process
  • Visit to the cellars where secondary bottle fermentation takes place
  • Tasting of all our current releases in our picturesque tasting room that overlooks the South Downs

Please Note:

  • Private Tours are subject to the availability of our staff so we recommend that two or three alternative dates are suggested when enquiring.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate persons under the age of 18 years or dogs (apart from guide dogs).
  • We have disabled access to our Winery and Tasting Room.
  • We do not accept bookings from Stag or Hen parties (or companies working on behalf of such groups).
