Ridgeview's Saigneé Method Rosé

A Rosé made from just Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier using the saignée method, which acquires the colour from bleeding the initial pressing.

Tasting Note

A delicate rose petal pink with an abundance of fine bubbles. A complex nose dominated by summer fruits alongside honey and toast characters. The Pinots bring an abundance of red berry flavours to the palate with great fullness and length.

Drink now or age for another year or two.

Serving Suggestions

Ideal apéritif, especially on a warm summer’s evening. It pairs beautifully with canapés and bowls of fresh English strawberries.

“The nose is a seductive balance of red fruit and cream, with addition decadent notes of honey, brioche and spice added on the palate, which is silky and fine. Wonderfully refreshing, yet very rich and rounded, this is an extraordinarily good Rosé sparkler which certainly Merrets (sic) your attention”.
Simon Field MW – Berry Bros & Rudd, Wine Buyer

“Named after Queen Victoria, the only other British monarch to celebrate a Diamond Jubilee. It sits in the glass a pale salmon colour, with a creamy texture and a pleasant undertone of red berries”.
Will Lyons - Wall Street Journal

“I particularly like the ‘Victoria’ sparkling rosé which makes its debut this year. A blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, the wine has perfumed red fruits on the nose and elegant fresh raspberry notes on the palate with a hint of brioche. Delicious with some smoked salmon paté".
