There’s something magical about a glass of delicious rosé. Bringing sunshine in a glass, the new vintage of our sellout Still English Rosé delivers all of that magic and more. Transporting you to moments spent with friends and family in the sun, it’s everything you dream of in a glass of rosé. Crisp yet creamy, it’s as enjoyable to drink as it is to share. Now available online for the first time, and with only a limited number of bottles available, let’s dive into what makes this Still English Rosé so special.
After the fantastic reception of our debut vintage, we knew we were onto something special, and this new vintage shines even brighter.
A soft, rose petal pink in the glass, it reveals a captivating nose of watermelon, grapefruit, and freshly picked berries. On the palate, it’s a burst of fruit-forward flavours – from juicy peach and tart cranberry to the sun-ripened sweetness of strawberries and cream. An elegant, rounded palate with crisp, refreshing acidity, leads to a moreish finish that lingers long, inviting you back for one more sip.
“There is even more vibrancy and balance, showing just what the exceptional English fruit from our vineyards can do,” says Simon, Head Winemaker “and it’s as food-friendly as it is delightful to drink.”
A wine that knows its way around the table, it speaks to the soul of food. When you want a wine that doesn’t just fill the glass but makes the meal, this rosé has food pairing prowess in abundance.
A natural companion for those easy-reaching nibbles whilst you sip and yap – like a bowl of Nocellara olives and artichoke hearts with a handful of truffle oil chips on the side. Or with a crisp goat’s cheese salad, sprinkled with pine and drizzled in balsamic glaze.
Main courses and savoury dishes sing out with this wine. A beautifully grilled Chicken Provençal brings the fruit-forward freshness of this wine to the fore, while seared tuna or thai-style salmon match the crisp acidity with precision and perfection.
If cheese is your love language, our Still English Rosé speaks fluently. The soft, creamy richness of baked Camembert pairs perfectly with the wine’s smooth texture, while the tangy notes of goat’s cheese enhance the rosé’s natural fruitiness.
For something a little firmer, try Grana Padano or Manchego, which offer a lovely contrast to the rosé’s bright acidity and bring out its subtle complexity. Serve with crusty bread or fig jam, or with roasted vegetables or charcuterie, like prosciutto or saucisson sec, to balance the richness of the cheese.
If you’re in the mood for something sweet, Ridgeview’s Still English Rosé offers the perfect balance of sweetness and freshness. A slice of English summer pudding, bursting with mixed berries, is an ideal companion for the wine, its berry-forward notes harmonising beautifully. For something lighter, try lemon tarte tatin or a bite-sized macaron with fruit filling.
For something a bit more indulgent, honey and almond biscotti or a small bowl of candied nuts with a sprinkling of sea salt will hit the spot. These sweet treats pair effortlessly with the rosé’s bright, vibrant character.
Shop Still English RoséWhat makes this rosé so special isn’t just the refreshing, fruit-forward palate or the notes of strawberries and cream – it’s how it captures the essence of English rosé. Crafted from hand-picked Pinot Précoce (early ripening Pinot Noir) sourced from our trusted partner vineyards in Suffolk and Essex, this Still English Rosé reflects the purity of English fruit, grown with care in the UK’s exceptional terroir.
