Blanc de Noirs: Inside the Bottle

“Blanc de Noirs is one of my favourite blends,” Head Winemaker, Simon Roberts tells us. “Pinot Noir is notoriously challenging to grow, but the results are so worth it. We’re seeing consistently exceptional quality Pinot grapes from our vineyards, and it’s a joy to produce a Blanc de Noirs that truly showcases the potential of this remarkable style of sparkling wine.”

With a palate-tingling profile and vibrant red-fruit flavours, there are captivating aromas of pear, honeysuckle, berries and black cherry. Richly textured with a full-bodied backbone, the palate brims with peach, honeyed apricot and buttery pastry.

Quintessentially complex, layers of apricot, liquorice and aromatic spice unfold over toasted notes of sweet vanilla and honey. Delicate, yet full-bodied, a light mousse leads to a long, lingering finish.

“This vintage in particular is bursting with big, juicy flavours that open up incredible food pairing possibilities,” says Simon. “It’s amazing with Asian flavours, spicy dishes, and even shines alongside seafood. For something truly unexpected, try it with a creamy pasta dish—it’s a game-changer!”

From vineyard to winery, we move with the seasons, and so does our restaurant, The Rows & Vine. As the cooler weather draws in, we head indoors to the Winery.

A cosy, casual and contemporary space to sip, meet and eat, The Rows & Vine at the Winery offers sweeping vineyard views and a glimpse of our tanks, cellars and winemaking in action. With a sumptuous new sharing-and-pairing menu (*coming soon*), Ridgeview’s restaurant takes on a fresh seasonal magic this autumn/winter.

From Sunday 5 October, all bookings will be held indoors.
