Oncoland vineyard was established in 2018 by the Billings family on their 1600 hectare farm in North-West Kent. With further plantings in 2019, they now have 8 hectares of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier under vine.
Set on light soil atop North Downs chalk and flint, Oncoland vineyard produces some of England’s finest grapes.
A family farm for generations, Oncoland was traditionally a mixed farm with arable, dairy and beef. More recently, they have diversified into renewable energy, hops and vines.

With decades of farming experience, they are committed to protecting and preserving the land for generations to come.

Oncoland take a low-carbon farming approach and continue to build on their sustainable practises adopted across the whole of the estate.
They have made significant investments in renewable energy installing a Biomass Boiler and, more recently, an Anaerobic Digestion plant in 2019.
Afforestation and agro-forestry efforts have resulted in 30,000 trees planted in the past 30 years and they continue to look at ways to minimise their impact on the environment.
Oncoland have been supplying grapes to Ridgeview since their very first harvest in 2021.
