Blanc de Blancs 2020 (An OurView Pre-Release Exclusive)
Straight from our cellar and signed by Head Winemaker Simon Roberts, this is a true insider’s moment for OurView members. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of planting our pioneering Chardonnay vineyard, we’re offering exclusive early access to the new release of our flagship, single-estate Blanc de Blancs 2020.
Crafted solely from the finest Chardonnay grapes from our heritage English vineyard, it captures the purest expression of Ridgeview’s Sussex terroir in one exceptional vintage year. Bright orchard fruit and warm honeyed apricots lead the palate, with hints of savoury coastal salinity unfolding. Layers of apple tarte tatin and spiced peaches meet a luxurious mousse and a tantalising streak of acidity, delivering complexity that lingers long on the finish.
Still Chardonnay (New Release)
An invitation to experience English wine in a way you’ve never tasted before, Ridgeview’s debut still white wine has elegance and finesse in abundance. Vibrant aromas of ripe orchard fruits harmonise with delicate floral notes. On the palate, juicy peach and crisp green apple are balanced by bright acidity, delivering a beautifully layered, refreshing finish. Designed for the table, it pairs beautifully with good food and great company.
Oak Reserve (Late Disgorged)
Hailed as a landmark expression of English Chardonnay, from our Head Winemaker’s personal portfolio of esoteric and adventurous wines. This limited-edition, late-disgorged bottling has been aged in both new and old Burgundy and Loire oak barrels. A beautifully rich nose brings notes of candied citrus peel and caramelised butter. With extended lees-ageing, a complex, smoky palate sings out, with notes of vanilla, mace and streaks of spiced fruit.
